Happy New Year! The new year marks one year since I started this blog and I am so happy that I did. I love being able to look back at some of the amazing memories that I made throughout the year, and it is even better looking back to see how much I've grown since January 2018.
This new year feels a little different. This is because this is the year when my life is going to change drastically. I will be graduating college, I will search for my first full-time job, I will (hopefully) permanently move to New York City, but most importantly, 2019 will be the start of reaching all my post-grad goals. If you know me at all, you know I am literally counting down the days until I can move to NYC (while also enjoying every last moment of college).
I do not always make New Years resolutions, but this year I decided to make one. My 2019 resolution is to say yes. Say yes to more things that intimidate me, things that will push me to be better and to big opportunities. Whether this means saying yes to a job offer even though I am intimidated or saying yes to going out on some sort of adventure even though I am doubtful that I will have a good time, I will say yes more.

I did this during this past weekend while visiting Margate City, New Jersey for the new year. I really did not feel like driving from Maryland to NYC then to New Jersey, and I was not entirely sure that it would
even be a good time. But, I put those thoughts away, said yes, and had such an amazing weekend exploring a new city and visiting Atlantic City for the first time.

So, here's to saying yes in 2019.
xx, Lex
