Living It Up In Nashville (aka NashVegas)

I spent my last ever spring break in Nashville, Tennessee, and let me tell you, that was probably one of the best decisions I have made. As my flight landed on the first day of my trip, I was not really sure what to expect. I am not extremely into country music and I am definitely more of a wine girl than a beer girl. But I soon came to realize that I was in for quite the experience after I saw a note from the previous renter in my AirBnb that said, "Drink all the

drinks, eat all the food and do all the things." And we most certainly did just that.

Our first night there we spent on Broadway, of course. Bars in Nashville are a whole experience in itself. Starting at 10am there is live music is all of the bars on the strip. We tried different beers from a lot of local breweries, and they were SO good. I also think I ate the best wings I will ever have at Luke Bryan's rooftop bar.

The second day we walked around downtown to make note of all the places we needed to stop during the next two days. We stopped at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row and -- oh. my. god. -- their mac and cheese with chicken was absolutely to die for. At this point it was around 2pm, and yes the live music was still going. We spent the night in a quieter part of town where we ate dinner at Bella Napoli, and I swear the two pizzas we ordered were gone in a matter of

seconds. After that we went to Old Glory Bar. This bar had a NYC type of feel so we were definitely in our element while drinking Nashville-esque drinks.

During our last full day, we checked off a lot of boxes. We spent the morning at The Gulch where we ate breakfast at Biscuit Love. Everyone who goes to Nashville must visit Biscuit Love. Country vibes with the best southern breakfast food. We then ventured to the 12 South neighborhood where all the best well-known Nashville murals are, also a must-see.

Now, let me get on the subject of Pedal Tavern. The Pedal Tavern is essentially a bar on a bike where about 15 people all pedal the bike while we play drinking games and tour Nashville for two hours straight. It was easily one of the best things I have ever spent my money on. We were on a bike with people from all over

the country and from Canada. It was such a great time having fun with new people, seeing all of Nashville and getting some exercise all with a beer in hand.

Lastly, Hatty B's Chicken. WOW. That's all I have to say about that.

I definitely encourage everyone to make a trip to Nashville at some point in your lives. Such a fun atmosphere and a great place to make so many memories. Nash, I will be back.

xx, Lex
