It is safe to say that getting back into the routine of balancing classes, extracurricular activities and (little) free time is extremely challenging after you have had a month-long winter break with little responsibilities. I just started my last semester of junior year, and I promised myself that this semester I would take advantage of every opportunity that is offered to me. Whether it be something to increase my professional experience or just something to do with my friends, I want to take full advantage of this semester.
That being said, yesterday I took advantage of my completely free Friday to indulge in some greasy yet satisfying food here in Syracuse. My favorite place to go for a late brunch while at school is Stella's Diner. Stella's is one of those places where you are guaranteed to see someone that you know every time you go there because everyone knows that it is the place to be on a Friday or Saturday morning.

I ordered myself a "Vermont" omelette that had spinach, Swiss cheese, bacon and tomato in it with toasted cinnamon raisin bread on the side (OMG). And, I cannot forget to add that their coffee is like no other.

Although this wasn't the craziest adventure I have been on, it is small outings like these that I hope to take advantage of this semester in order to create more moments.
xx, Lex
P.S. I do not know why majority of my posts are about food, but I guess that is just because my life revolves around food???
