After a busy last month of midterms and spring break, I'm back! During this last month, I was lucky enough to celebrate my 21st birthday in New York City with some of my best friends. We ate a lot of food, saw a lot of things and participated in some activities that the average 21 year old would participate in (hehe).

The Airbnb that we stayed at was right next to the High Line. Although the views and atmosphere are much more pleasant when it is not only 30 degrees out, we still had such an awesome time enjoying the views of my favorite city.
For dinner the first night, we went to a Mexican restaurant a few blocks away called Mexicue. It was phenomenal to say the least. I have literally been craving tacos ever since. Easily some of the best tacos I have ever had.

The next morning we got breakfast at a place called BEC. I got an avocado toast, and let's just say it was exactly what I needed the morning after my 21st birthday. Great employees and quick service which was perfect.

After that, we spent a good amount of time shopping in SoHo daydreaming about the day we can afford to buy the things we had our eyes on.
For the last night we had dinner at Pietro NoLita, which is known for having an extremely pleasing pink aesthetic. I was able to order gluten free pasta (shout out to all the gluten free people out there) and a delicious glass of pinot grigio (you know, because I'm 21 now) while laughing about all the memories my friends and I made during our trip to NYC.

NYC, I'll be back again soon.
xx, Lex
