I am back from my hiatus.
As I have officially wrapped up my second to last semester at SU, I thought it would be a good time to return to ~Life of Lex~. This semester was definitely one of my busiest semesters and I didn't always have enough time to dedicate to blogging, but I am back.
Seven semesters down, and one to go. This semester was one for the books, so I'll use this post to share some highlights.

The main highlight of semester has been living in an apartment with all of my closest friends. All ten of us live in the same apartment complex which is 99% of the reason I've stayed sane this semester (shoutout to you guys).
We live in one of the oldest, most run-down apartment buildings on campus, but it's okay, because even though it takes ten minutes for the stove to light up, I always have someone there when I need them.

But, I have to say the biggest highlight of the semester was the thing that caused me the most stress... when a stolen car ran into my parked car right outside of my apartment! Although this was literally the most painful process, this was a highlight because it taught me to find some positivity in an extremely annoying situation. And I got a brand new rental car for a month! Shoutout to the people who stole this kids car and crashed into mine. Thanks for letting me learn how to deal with car insurance, it was really great. I also have a video of the crash, hit me up if you're interested!
Now I am finally home for my last winter break enjoying the little free time that I have before I join the real world. I'm hoping 2019 brings me more fun times with my friends and better luck with my car!
xx, Lex
